This sock yarn is all about the twist! High twist yarns create garments that retain quality for longer and are resistant to abrasion and pilling; this yarn's two strands are lightly twisted together making it, therefore, ideal for socks. The fine merino used in Superwash Sock Hi-Twist gives natural elasticity and is not itchy. Furthermore, the specially treated merino fibers mean you can machine wash/dye the yarn without fear of felting.
