A soft, lofty, and lightweight yarn that has been 'woollen' spun (rather than 'worsted' spun), to create many air pockets that trap warmth. Undyed Double Knit (DK) Woolly Merino is made from 100% nonsuperwash merino. When dyed up that yarn has a matt appearance and, with its gentle halo, has a blended effect, making it perfect for stranded colorwork.
